Lazaropole

LAZAROPOLE

Lazaropole is a small village in the mountainous area of Mavrovo National Park.

The Lazaropole station is located at an altitude of 1 333 meters above sea level and is positioned at the edge of a village of summer residences. The distance to the nearest highway is 7 km and to the next town (Kicevo) 22 km. Lazaropole represents the clean rural background conditions of the country.

Measured components are: O₃, NO₂, SO₂ and PM₁₀.
